The marketing team at Victra was just starting to ramp up when I joined. At the beginning of our paid media journey, our ads were unique to the campaign. As we grew and partnered more closely with Verizon, our paid media creative more closely followed their branding.

My time as an in-house graphic designer for Victra gave me great experience in the balance of applying Verizon's well-known brand while also advancing our own. I had the pleasure of designing these marketing materials to be seen by thousands of customers in stores across the United States—doorhangers, posters, flyers, videos, and more.
Report Design
U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Sub-organizations that fall under the U.S. Chamber of Commerce put out a vast number of reports each year. Prior to their re-brand, our team was tasked with creating unique and compelling reports for what we like to call "walls-o-text." When the subject is not very visually interesting, we come up with creative visual layouts to appeal to the target audience and encourage readership through visual storytelling.

Throughout my time working at a local magazine and newspaper, I really fell in love with how playful design can be in print layouts. A story can presented in a visual way, grabbing the reader's attention, evoking emotion, and creating an organized flow. Design has a huge role in how viewers internalize a message—we choose where to direct the eye.
Inflation Socials Graphics & Illustration
Americans for Tax Reform
We created monthly social posts showing major items that had been affected by inflation. Our process and strategy for this project started as static graphics using iconography for quick recognition. However, we further developed this concept into a more interactive variation using social media carousels and scenic illustrations that spanned multiple graphics.
Christmas Animation
Red Edge
For an internal development project, I used the Red Edge Frenchie dog mascot as the core of this animation. After illustrating various holiday-themed scenes, I added motion to them individually in AfterEffects. When spliced together, the dog stays consistent in the middle as the surroundings change around him. It was a great introductory project to learn some of the basics of this Adobe program.
Coloring & Activity Book
Food Delivery Service
One of our more unique projects I've had the pleasure of working on—we created a coloring book to teach kids the importance of healthy foods in a fun and interactive way! This client had a specific mission in bridging the gap for communities facing food insecurity. This product would be handed out at informative events, and also offered as printable single pages online.

Prior to my career in print production and design, I started my own photography business specializing in sports and portrait photography. When it came to choosing my career path, I chose to keep photography as a hobby and study print and digital design to have more than one creative outlet, but I still love taking shots when I can!
